An amazing place to stay. The room was one of the best and biggest we have ever stayed in, great bed and bedding, the grounds are beautiful and relaxing and it's all only a 5 minute drive to the Busselton foreshore and jetty. Just a small quibble, the WiFi signal was not very strong. Fully recommended if you want to spoil yourself!

It was sad that during our whole stay we did not meet any of the staff. No personal contact during check-in, check-out and during the stay.

Outside bathroom. For me, this was an absolute deal breaker, especially as this detail is not included anywhere in the description on booking.com. It says: private bathroom, which is true. BUT, to get to the bathroom, it is a 10 metre walk to the back door, then 7 metres totally outside (no cover) to a door that is very difficult to open, then 7 more metres to the actual bathroom door. The bathroom is quite nice once you manage to get there. In the middle of the night, it was below 10 degrees, pouring with rain and blowing a 50km plus gale (which made the courtesy umbrellas, situated at the backdoor, completely useless). By the time you make this journey twice (to and from the bathroom), you are so wide awake that returning to sleep is a long, slow process. My daughter also found it creepy. Plus, the high position of the TV was awkward and uncomfortable, and the central heating ceiling duct in the lounge area was extremely noisy.
