Las Vegas Marriott

I stayed here for a week at the end of June 2025: I must say, this is the friendliest hotel staff -- from the people at the front desk, to the waiters at the restaurant, to the housekeeping people, to even the maintenance folks, who would always stop and smile and say hello. It shows that management puts a real premium on treating guests well. So, thank you! The rooms themselves are very large -- all suites with a bedroom area, a living area, a small minibar, and a sink+wardrobe separate from the commode and tub/bath. The room was whisper quiet: I never heard anything from other rooms or outside. I will admit the rooms need refreshening, including the beds and bedding. They're clean as a whistle, but dated when it comes to decor. But! They're updating the rooms as I type; the front desk said they'd start to debut in July. The pool area is low-key and not crowded -- perfect to get away from the LV crowds. The restaurant is very good. And my Titanium status was noted and I was given the accompanying benefits, like a nice room and free breakfast. All-in-all, worth a look if you're looking for an upscale low-key hotel with nice views of the Strip (but not on it).

Great front desk service.

I rarely write negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. Unfortunately, my stay was overshadowed by the behavior of the front desk staff. One particular lady at reception was extremely rude and unhelpful from the moment I arrived. Instead of offering assistance or greeting guests warmly, she came across as impatient and dismissive. I had a few questions regarding check-in and local amenities, but each interaction felt like an inconvenience to her. As a guest, being treated with basic courtesy and professionalism is the least one should expect, especially at the front desk, which is the face of any hotel. Aside from that, the facilities were decent, and the room was clean. But sadly, customer service matters—and this experience made me feel unwelcome. I hope management addresses this issue and provides better training for staff in hospitality and guest relations.

We have been patrons at the Las Vegas Marriott for a dozen years, and each visit is a fabulous experience with attentive staff (LOVE the front desk folks!), great food in the cafe along with superb service, and restful stays. We are thrilled to be given a room with great views of the Sphere and the hotel is located near everything we enjoy. We are lifelong customers of this exceptional Marriott!

Construction on upper floors started before 9am, that’s my only gripe. All in all it was a fantastic stay with helpful staff and tasty restaurant.

This hotel is right opposite the Las Vegas Convention Center. It is also fairly close to all the convention centres (I was there for one at Venetian and Wynn) so that was convenient. The hotel has a fairly small reception area for such a large hotel and an open plan restaurant right next to it with no barriers or wall/enclosure. The rooms are nice enough if a little tired old decor by today's standards. Especially the carpets. Pleasantly, to my surprise because I did not ask for it, nor did I know they offered it, I got a room with a view of the Sphere. That thing is on 24 literal hours! So much so that you must remember to close all curtains (not just those of the bedroom that I did) incl living area where there was a sofa and table chair. Else it shines light in all night and can disturb sleep or make it difficult to fall back to sleep if you are jet lagged like I was. There was no breakfast included which always irks me, but in my case it did not matter as the convention offered it to me so I went there. It does not cost much, but shows goodwill and good service to offer it! (Note to management :-)) Service was good enough, I think this counts as an average stay for all the reasons. I will try another place the next time I'm here.

My primary reason for the trip was the Janet Jackson concert. I spent a couple of days there before my husband arrived. The suite was perfect with a convenient desk so I could handle a couple of work obligations. The rooftop restaurant was decent and I took advantage of the view. The hotel was going through a renovation so I was not able to enjoy the restaurant they're known for but overall the room was nice, the staff was helpful, and the location was great being a little bit away from the strip but close to the train and close enough to the main sites.
