Residence Inn by Marriott Sarasota Bradenton

We had come down to FL for a family funeral on short notice and booked across their parking lot at the Springhill Suites. It was a disaster - broken elevator, no hot water - and the staff at The Residence Inn was so helpful in getting us moved over at the last minute. They helped coordinate with my parents who didn’t get in until late that evening, too. They were gracious, kind and made a difficult weekend so much better

Service was good. The shower was good, and hot. The bed was comfy. Breakfast was adequate...as normal. Quiet. The only issue I had, and it was a big one...was the door did not lock. You could push it open, unless you were inside and had the safety latch on. So when I went to breakfast, or to get coffee, my things were not locked up. I told the front desk and they were going t address it.

Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Great location. Clean rooms and facilities.

Our locked bicycles were stolen Saturday night from the hotel bike rack next to the pool. General manager won’t meet with us and said to file a police report. The hotel has no night security or security cameras. The bike rack is a hotel amenity and we expected the hotel to offer us some compensation. She said she won’t. Beware of theft at this hotel.

Great an spacious room

The Hotel itself was awesome! We got one of the rooms facing towards the University, so any large trucks passing by made a lot of noise. It is very convenient to be near the airport, but it's also VERY loud. Overall we enjoyed our stay ♥

This hotel is going to be our go to hotel every time we visit Sarasota. It was amazing. The bed was so comfortable, the room was extraordinarily clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. I love this hotel. Thank you so much for making our trip so wonderful.

Propert was clean and exactly as pictured on Expedia.

Liked the location across from SRQ. Still not doing daily housekeeping. Breakfast offering is one item per day.
