Sleep Inn Bryson City - Cherokee Area

Friendly staff, excellent complimentary breakfast, clean and well maintained, cost effective pricing.

Good value and not far off where I needed to be.

Main thing was that they did not offer any place to park a motorcycle close to the front door. I've stayed at lots of motels / hotels while out riding, and I think there have been only 2 others. Most will offer parking under the awning, or on a sidewalk in an area that doesn't block pedestrians. Even one place in Seattle that I perceived to be "too fancy" to allow this let me park on the sidewalk, off to the side, near the entry doors. I'll have to assume they think they have a good reason (although I spotted 2 possible places), but wanted to bring this up for other riders to see.

Clean rooms,free breakfast.

Breakfast was excellent. The staff was more than helpful, the room were clean. Bryson City has that small town charm that makes you think of Mayberry from the Andy Griffith Show (for those of you old enough to remember).

The sliding door to the bathroom in our first room was sticky and hard to close.
