Beautiful property, great location, clean spacious rooms fun atmosphere and outstanding service! Plenty of walkable restaurants and shopping!

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was top-notch. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Special shoutout to Ahmad and Myron for their outstanding service. They were both so kind, professional, and genuinely made our experience better. Their hospitality truly stood out. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Myron is great! Within my first few hours, he has opened the door and greeted me with pleasure each and every time. Amazing service!

5-star experience! Myron at the door grabbed my bags for me, walked me in, and was friendly each and every time I saw him! The entire team was so kind and helpful. The room is stunning, the bathroom is perfect, all around amazing.

Excellent experience. Great room and the wonderful restaurants within 1/2 a block was a bonus. Verdell, the doorman, was kind, cordial, and helpful, just as he has been for 20 years.

This hotel is the complete package. Large, comfortable, modern designed room- which was perfect for my few days in Chicago for business. It is centrally located near great restaurants and shopping- all within a very short walk. The lobby and lobby bar are comfortable and hip. Food at the hotel was excellent. And the customer service is top notch. Ody at the front desk went above and beyond- helping me get a great Chicago deep dish pizza- complete with a spot on recommendation on which one to order on the menu- and also helped me with some other business needs (including printing a work document)- saving me from what would have been a bitterly cold walk to the FedEx store. Thank you Ody! Highly, highly recommend this hotel!!!

The room but not much other amenities in the hotel. Gym was lack luster and no business center feels like you have much to improve on still.

Hidden fees at check out of “destination fee” , no amenities in the hotel. The gym is hardly that and there was no location for me to work other than inside my room, a business center would go a long way.

The hotel is beautiful from the lobby and the exterior but the rooms are outdated with cheap furnishing's, and some portions of the room were unfinished with cable's coming through holes in the drywall. The lampshades were stained with food and the bed frame was not flush to the floor. The TV did not work as expected. The room was uncomfortable due to poor climate control. There are no vending services on-site and mini fridges are first come, first serve. The mini-bar was not stocked with items I would consume. Staff were indifferent and judgmental at times. Tavern on Rush has delicious food, but was loud and raucous with an atmosphere not becoming of an expensive steakhouse.

We loved our stay at the Thompson! It is has a clean, new, fresh feel with excellent customer service! Ahmad and Natalie at the front desk were very attentive and helpful and upgraded us to a beautiful corner room with a view of the lake and the city. The Thompson is in a perfectly convenient location - walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on the Magnificent Mile. We felt we got a great value for what we paid for our room and will definitely stay at the Thompson again!

Perfect location. The hotel had a relaxing atmosphere even during the Bears game. Room was clean and the view looked out over the city. Service was amazing. Myron and Verdell at the front doors were attentive. They made sure to ask if we needed anything and also had good conversation.
