Eureka Inn, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We had a great time at the Eureka Inn. We are early bird so having breakfast available from 6:30 worked for us. Their choices are limited to bread, donuts,and muffins, porridge and cereals, but they have ready egg and sausage sandwich that only needed to be microwaved. They have boiled eggs and yogurt too. The rooms are nice and clean.

One of our rooms windows was not closing properly, due to the age of the property. It can be an issue in the winter months with the cold drafts. Minor inconvenience... Other than that everything was great.

Booked because of the beautiful historic building. Well worth it if you like lovely architecture and historic pictures of the many famous people who have stayed there. Comfortable bed

As an historic building it has some inherent issues. Internet very spotty, but available in lobby. Takes a good 10 minutes for shower water to warm up to barely warm. Construction across the street

Schönes altes Hotel in guter Lage, sehr sauber, kostenloser Parkplatz

Das Frühstück ist nur süß, selbst für amerikanische Verhältnisse sehr übersichtlich. Das Wasser in der Dusche (wir hatten das letzte Zimmer auf dem Flur) wurde leider nur lauwarm.

Best nights sleep on holiday plus history of the inn

A beautiful, iconic hotel with a no-holds-bar history of the area and former guests. Easy access and a great base if you’re visiting the national and state redwood parks and beaches.

Only one thing, there was no counter in the bathroom (room 324) so not easy balancing your makeup kits or shaving bags.

This hotel is a jem. It's like to return in time and experience the past yourself. Yes, it's old, but it has its spirit and charm. It was our quitest night in a hotel ever. You could hear nothing! The bed was very comfortable too. Definitely recommend!

The area in the city center does not look safe. The parking is gated though

Too old and dark. Needs an update. Bathroom had no storage space.
