Não gostei do café da manhã, que foi no HOBNOB, onde tive que assinar para se incluído na conta do quarto, quando eu paguei o hotel com café da manhã incluído. Tive que pedir a devolução do que paguei. Muito chata a situação!.

Hotel Fort Des Moines is a gorgeous hotel as one would expect under the Curio subset of Hilton. It has all the charm of an older hotel with modern conveniences. Breakfast was wonderful at the on site restaurant.

When one pays nearly $300 for a single night's stay, one does expect valet service (extremely small spot to pull in up front and we couldn't find one so we self-parked), proper transit from parking garage to hotel (skyways and elevators were out of order at the hotel) and complimentary wifi (had to pay $10/night - shame on you Hilton).

Walking distance to Farmers' Market and restaurants, and Hy-Vee.

Too expensive. No breakfast included. Had a banging sounding coming out of HVAC closet every hour or so.
