Kent Island Resort

This property has great potential. You can tell that the hotel spent money on the furnishing and decor. The grounds outside were outstanding

The hotel, restaurant and possibly the housekeeping staff was very under staffed. The little details have been overlooked. This property could be an awesome stay but instead it was just ok.

Beautiful resort with lots of character an old time charm. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay here again.

There was no lift in the facility. Ask for room with balcony but did not happened.

Lift could have been better and better if we could sine in until late.

Bed was comfortable and the bedding high quality.

There were two weddings the evening we arrived. We were not notified. The restaurant was closed and so we had to leave the property to eat. Upon returning we went to bed. The walls are thin. You can hear conversations in the hall, every movement of the people above and music thumping outside. I wanted rest but I felt like we were staying in someone's house that happened to be having a house party that we weren't invited to.

The property overall is charming. Unfortunately the service was just okay. If you’re going to charge me a $30 resort fee, please explain the amenities. Also, the bathroom wasn’t great - old and damaged in spots. We got a deal because we’d stayed mid-week, but even at that, the price seemed too high. Disappointed.
