Hyatt Place Albuquerque Airport

This hotel could have been very good, but one really stupid event spoiled our stay. We requested the room to be serviced daily, so after night one, we put our towels on the floor. During that day, an employee entered the room, moved a sign “Later would be better” from the inside door handle to the outside door handle, and didn’t do a thing to service the room. Also, they charge $10/night for parking.

This was my 3rd week at the Hyatt Place ABQ Airport. The previous 2 weeks were great, so I booked another week at last minute. This week was not on par with the previous visits. The hot breakfast was a big disappointment this week. The typical offerings are potatos, scrambled eggs, and a sausage or canadian bacon offering on a daily rotation . The standard waffle makers and toast/fruit/bagles as well. On Wed there was no breakfast meat option, on Thursday the donut holes and ice water were missing. I will be looking at other hotel options for my next stay. Also had 2 bus load of kids staying ath the hotel so busses were taking up parking spots.

This is an excellent value hotel. Super close to the airport. And lots of new amenities nearby, including gas station, casual restaurants. An excellent brew and pizza place within walking distance. Breakfast here is excellent. Very close to the western entrances of Kirtland AFB, and shuttle available to the airport. Rental car facility is only about one mile down the road. This has become my go-to place to stay when I travel to Albuquerque.

Breakfast was excellent; staff very helpful and friendly; shuttle service excellent; room size although more than we needed.

Information said "restaurant on site". However, it was more like a pub, not even that. A small menu that the staff went in the back to prepare. For us restaurant meant much more than that. So I would almost say "false advertising".
