Hyatt Place Ft. Lauderdale/Plantation

We recently came from a trip and we decided to stay here. We were greeted by Ms. Rita and she was very welcoming, informative, and friendly. We had a very short waiting time while she ensured we had were well accommodated. The room was very clean and spacious. Her supervisor was also very friendly. I appreciate these things when being in unfamiliar areas. Though it was past her shift, she went well above and beyond her duties. The previous week we also had a one night stay and were greeted by Waylan who expressed the same welcoming culture. I am thankful for such servant stewardship in a great place

So we stayed for a night prior to our Port Everglades cruise. Choose this location due to spring break crowds in Fort Lauderdale. The hotel is located in a nice area with restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. We checked in with a very friendly, professional staff. The room was updated and clean, bed was comfortable. The minuses - the bathroom is very small. The TV remote was one of the most difficult to navigate I’ve ever seen in a hotel. Breakfast in the morning was the standard Hyatt breakfast. It was fine. Although the dining area for a hotel this size was pretty small. Overall a good stay.

The location is good. The place is under renovation. The room was ok. No microwave and water was not hot. I small bar of soap. Shampoo and conditioner in shower. Could use some lotion and other amenities. The trip was for rest and was not able too. I placed on the side of the elevator. Continuous noise all night and renovation noise in the day

The staff was great. They returned my call when I called to see if they could hold our luggage. They held our luggage while we visited the Everglades. The staff called to tell us our room was ready early.
