Great location close to Gaia waterfront area. Entry to the building and apartment via PIN pad which is helpful. Towels and toiletries provided.

Only slight issue was the sofa bed was not made up and no bedding provided for it. Staff attended the next day to make it up. Apparently you have to specify that you need it making up.

Staying on the Gaia side of the river was a new experience for us, the location of the apartment was quite OK.

The room was not particularly clean and being a ground floor room at the back it was extremely dark & damp, (it was almost impossible to dry the towels after a shower). We eventually realised that the AC had a heating feature, so once activated we were able to dry things. We didnt pay for a premium stay so didn't have big expectations, but I would still question whether-or-not this room was value for money. Despite the above we had a good time & enjoyed our stay.

The facilities such as kitchen area, bathroom and location suited us. Such a shame that there was unhealthy damp and the apartment could have been lovely for us.

There was mould and damp in the far corner of the room in various locations with a very strong smell when we entered. It was also on the curtains. This is not acceptable by any standard and was obvious that it had not been checked before it was available for rental. This caused a problem for us as I have health issues and damp spores are bad for health. The owners apologised but had no options for letting us stay in another of their apartments as they were full. By the time we tried to resolve this with booking.com we had nowhere else to spend the night as it was late and could not find alternative accomodation for the night. They agreed that we could stay but all windows had to be wide open to allow us to breathe. We had to sort out the issue ourselves with booking.com and ended up paying more for elsewhere with no help in giving us the additional cost and no assistance in moving to another rental. This ruined the very beginning of our holiday and left us stressed and anxious.

Sehr zentrale Lage, man kommt in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß in die Altstadt. Ruhige Lage, obwohl zentral. Der Blick vom Balkon auf die Fußgängerbrücke war herrlich. Das Bett war nach unserem Geschmack, nicht zu weich.

Der Code für die Tür kommt erst 1 Stunde vor Ankunft in der Unterkunft. Man sollte also keine Probleme mit dem Internet oder Handy in Portugal haben. Bei uns hat alles geklappt, den Code einen Tag früher zu bekommen hätte mich etwas mehr entspannt. Ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.
