Divya Sutra Plaza and Conference Centre Calgary Airport

The room was very clean and comfortable. The front desk staff were pleasant. The rest of the other staff were very nice and personable to deal with. The price was fair for the one night we stayed there. It was nice to have the breakfast special in the restaurant there. Very good breakfast. Overall it was a very nice hotel, despite a few incidents we had to unfortunately deal with that were beyond our control.

There were 3 things that we felt could be improved upon. 1- The staff at the front dest would let other people, guests who were east indian, not only interrupt u so that they could check in or out, while we are checking in and out of the hotel. But would also stop checking us in or out to serve them first after they interrupted us while we were checking in and checking out of this hotel. This happened to us while we were already half way through checking in and also when we were about half way through while checking out. We were apolled at this behavior from the front desk staff. And to add insult to injury the front desk staff didn't even apologize to us. They acted as if we were the ones who had interrupted the other people. I don't know why, maybe because we weren't east Indian????? We travel alot and have stayed at quite alot of holtels in the world, and we have NEVER been treated so badly by the front desk clerks as at this hotel. 2- There were not enough Handy Capped parking stalls at this hotel. There were 3 in the front and 2 of those were regular sized parking spots, to small to be be used as Handy Capped, and one in the back. 3- After checking into the hotel, at 3 pm., we left for a few hours. Upon our return to the hotel that same evening at approximately 12:00 Midnight, we couldn't find parking anywhere due to a HUG Wedding that was being hosted at this hotel. We are Handy Capped with our plaque for our vehicle and therefore was hoping to find Handy Capped parking. However on of the front Handy Capped spaces were being used by someone without a Handy Capped plaque on their vehicle, so that was very frustrating. However at this point we would have been happy to find parking anywhere in that hotel parking lot. We drove around the front and back parking lots for about a half hour to 45 mins, till we finally got a spot in the back of the hotel. I can't even begin to tell u how infuriating that was.

A truly terrible experience. Did not unpack and checked out within an hour late at night to find somewhere else to stay. Very noisy despite rooms being advertised as sound proofed due to very loud party. As a solo senior felt unsafe as did a fellow guest with someone following us to our rooms. My room had cracked sink and exposed electrical socket. Expedia and I have tried to contact hotel to discuss by phone and email but no response.

I like the location of the place.

We stayed for one night, hoping to get some much-needed sleep and wind down after a long, busy day of activities. Instead, it was hands-down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. From midnight until 3:00 AM, someone in the room next to us kept slamming doors and even knocked on our door at least twice. We called the front desk twice to complain, but their response was completely dismissive. They just said they "would try their best" but claimed there wasn't much they could do because their lobby cameras weren't working. It felt unsafe and incredibly unprofessional.

beds uncomfortable. we were booked beside an adjoining room that had no sound barrier and was excessively loud. Food at the restaurant was returned and the second try was ok but not worth the wait.

From Quality-Price perspective, Divya Sutra is the best hotel I have stayed in Calgary. It has 4-star hotel facility with a large lounge around the front desk area. Room is big and come with an office desk and a comfortable seat. Good for professionals who need to the some computer work during their stay. Room has a kitchenette with a sink, other than fridge and microwave.

There were some minor issues, like water was not drained well in the bathroom's washbasin.
