Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie - Hudson Valley

Best hotel shower ever! Comfortable sofa area to relax in.

I need to share unfortunatly the worse experience at Hyatt that I love.I made a reservation for the 17 th to 19 th of April at Hyatt Hudson valey Poughkeepsie .When we got in the manager now I know he was checked us in and all seem to be ok. When we got to the room had an awful smell ,no air,the sheets and the whole room was very unpleasant .Anyways my gaughter and I said we are here to enjoy and will put up with it.I bought a room for the 17th 243.10$ and I had a free night as an award that was supposed to be on the 18th.We went explored the city and sightseeing and than I sat outside and my daughter went up stairs to refresh and is calling me stating that she is not able to get in the room.I told her to come down and we spoke to the manager who was the one who checked us in on arrival.What he did was he checked us out without our permission and made the room available.Not sure why and what happened and the reason.Ok he fixed it and gave us working keys for the room. Ok we said everyone make mistakes and we were ok with it.But what happened at night is unacceptable . It is 1030 pm when someone is trying to enter our room.We were asleep already. I hear noise and though probably someone made a mistake and think is his room.Did not respond but the person behind the door is not giving up and still trying to get in.my daughter was scared and I jumped out of the bed and asked “Who is trying to get in?” And he left it was the manager again Jason who than called the room stating that it is showing him in his registry that the room is available and the air was stopped or something and that he is apologizing to my daughter who picked up the phone. We were not safe anymore in this room we put and extra chair at the door and nearly slept . We were scared to get out from the room it was for a little bit to call the police. I am very disappointed of this whole creepy story and behaviors. I don’t want to put anyone in trouble but the Hyatt owners need to know do this doesn’t happened again.my review is 0 and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Good value. Conveniently located for Hudson Valley sightseeing. Courteous staff, tasty breakfast options.

Very clean and spacious rooms, stylish comfortable lobby, fresh cooked breakfast, and excellent staff and front desk! Alex & Julia were helpful, pleasant, and accommodating!
