Hyatt Place Poughkeepsie - Hudson Valley

Everything was fine. The last time I was here it was better, thats why I came back.

The breakfast wasn't as good as last time. And fewer choices.

There was stains everywhere and food and even boogers. I only gave it more stars because of the free breakfast and nice service. There was this really nice guy named Micheal tho who let us move rooms and only charged us the 1 night we were staying because we want to leave. Nice service bad room so yeah pick somewhere else tho.

Clean hotel, updated rooms and property. Updated breakfast with plenty of hot items including a waffle maker. Hash browns, sausage, scrambled eggs, some sort of egg frittata. Relatively quiet HVAC systems, the in wall vertical ones, not the PTACs, which can be fine but seem to be less reliable than these systems. Indoor pool is great for all season pool access.

First time in the Poughkeepsie area and we were pleasantly surprised. The photos on the website don't do the hotel justice! We had the family room and it was very spacious. 2 parents, 2 teens and a child managed to survive each other for 2 nights here just fine! The options for breakfast were also fantastic, something for all of us. We would definitely stay here again.

The dining area for breakfast seemed on the smaller side which could be a problem if the hotel is very full - however we were not negatively impacted by this.

Location has a storage unit as next door neighbor but reasonably close to everything in the area including restaurants and tourist attractions.

Breakfast could be much better. The fresh fruit was swimming in apple juice. there could be better choice of bread, bagels and cereals. Coffee was good.

location was pretty far away from most other places

Mike was the absolute best!! Treated my family and myself with the best service while we were celebrating in their hotel. The absolute best!
