Sea World Resort

It was a delightful holiday for me and my family. The location was perfect! We had a package deal of them parks and it was amazing deals that we dont need to think of paying extra. I cant think of any bad review it was all good my 3 year old son enjoyed the water playground in the premises. This experience will complete our checklist of the reasons why we wanna move to Aus from NZ :)

While it’s a lovely place to stay with kids, we were in the park wing facing the park and every morning construction noise on the new dolphin show stadium would start at 5.30am waking everyone. I complained but it never changed - big trucks, beeping etc . Also there is no dolphin show at the moment . Splash pad , water slides and kids disco on a Wednesday night were fun.

Just stayed the night here, we are locals and decided to take the grandkids. I got a very good deal including theme parks in with the room. Went in SeaWorld after checking in at 10.00 , room wasn’t ready as we had known check in not till later. Had a good day at seaworld then headed back to resort. The room was good and spacious. Headed to the pool area which we all enjoyed, the kids loved it. Couldn’t be bothered changing so ordered pizza from the Italian restaurant which was good. Headed straight back to to pool for our night swims. The next day unfortunately was thundering and lightning for a while in the morning so the kids had to wait a while before heading back to the pool before checkout. We then headed to movie world which was also a good morning, shame some of the rides was under maintenance. Time then to head home. All in all I would recommend this resort for families.they cater for everyone but families would benefit the most.

Took our 3 Grandkids to sea world,5 days of non stop fun , would recommend it to any one ,resort was great, food great, out of the 4 theme parks sea world was the best, end each day at the pool.

Absolutely amazing place to stay. Food was amazing and the service is first class. Definitely a wonderful place to stay with kids as there is so much to do. The swimming pool and spa were great and we used that a lot. The staff are an absolute credit to the company. Nothing was ever a problem. The accomodation is comfortable and definitely met our needs. Will definitely be coming back again in the near future.

SeaWorld Resort was an excellent place to stay, offering a variety of restaurants, great food, drinks & service. Our room was really clean, everything was amazing in the room except the wi-fi which was very poor. The resort was great and we had direct access into the SeaWorld Marine Park through the Resort gift shop. Staff were always helpful and eager to help.

Cannot fault this resort! This was our second stay and we will be back again in May with my parents. I can see this being an annual trip for our family. A couple of special notes... our 7 year old had her birthday and a lovely card and gift was waiting in our room for her..she was so excited thank you ! Secondly the routine and familiarity really help her to enjoy her holiday as she is Autistic..I found the staff more than helpful in anything we needed like location/room choice advice for this as well. Staff are genuinely happy to be at work and I believe this adds to our experience as a guest. Only thing I'd love is the pool to be heated a bit warmer and Melrose to be open a bit earlier for a freshly made coffee...but that's personal preference and wouldn't impact us coming back again and again. Top kids activities and the best place to just relax. Can't wait to return! Thank you!!

We had an amazing time at SeaWorld resort. The facilities are excellent- heated pool and spa and the buffet breakfast was awesome. Having direct access to the theme park made us feel like VIPs and we went in at 10am and straight to StormCoaster and Jet Rescue with no lines. I highly recommend this resort for a family holiday- we went with 11 and 12 year olds and let them go into the theme park on their own. Lots of families with toddlers all enjoying themselves. Resort never felt crowded.

Lots of families with little kids here and the kids loved the pancake machine at the breakfast buffet. I was surprised to find that the Resort is a smoking hotel, as it markets itself firmly in the family friendly category. The smoking locations are prominent and centrally located. We had to walk past one to get to the pool and it was next to the lift well and very close to our room. I wouldn't stay again until this policy is changed. We asked for a ground floor room but this could not be accommodated. Approximately one third of the rooms are on the ground floor so other families may have better luck. There is no childproof lock on the balcony doors. Our room was an upgraded deluxe room, which unfortunately still means double beds (not queen sized). I'm not sure why family hotels don't put in a king and two singles. I have never yet met a parent who returned from holiday to report that their kids loved sharing a double. We had a "garden view room" which was a bit optimistically described. Our view was over the carpark and loading dock, but there were some trees so maybe that counts. There are lovely gardens further into the wing where our room was but these face the entry doors not the windows/balconies. We stayed five nights and they had kids activities one night (the Monday). We had expected more kids activities but they have now closed the kids club. Check the timetable before you book if your kids are into activities. Bring the pram if going to Sea World. It's quite a trek for little legs now the monorail has been decommissioned.
