Sea World Resort

Our recent stay at Sea World Resort was absolutely fantastic, staff were friendly and courteous at all times. Restaurants were great, pool and splash park was great. Would stay there again.

We loved our stay at Sea World Resort! It had everything we wanted and more. The Resort was clean, comfortable and had a variety of restaurants to choose from for both lunch and dinner. The food was delicious and the cocktails were great too! The kids loved the pool area and water play ground. It was great to have unlimited access to Sea World. The staff were friendly and helpful. The resort is a close drive away to a number of beaches and cafes. (10 - 15 minute drive to Cavill Avenue). We loved the outdoor area just outside the lobby at night time, where the kids could run around and play whilst the adults could sit and enjoy some dinner and/or cocktails. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. Aircon works great and the TV is massive. Great value for money!! Overall we loved our stay here and would com back again.

Kids friendly as yet flyou can feel the lux. the access to the Sea world is super handy. My 3 years old daughter loves Spongebob pool area. Me and my partner loves breakfast/dinner buffet. Rooms are clean and staff are friendly and polite. We will keep coming back.

We recently stayed as a family of four (two adults and two children under 8) and booked two resort rooms in hopes of having adjoining accommodations to prevent sibling squabbles and maximise space. Prior to our arrival, the hotel kindly reached out to offer us an upgrades to two-person capacity suites, which seemed like a good idea for additional space. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that we received one upgraded room and one resort room in a highly undesirable location. Pros:  The hotel is very child-friendly, allowing our kids to run around and make friends easily.  The staff were incredible—super friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.  The proximity to SeaWorld was a definite plus, making it easy for us to enjoy some fun family outings. Cons:  Our resort room was located on the ground level, adjacent to the busy pool area and maze, which meant constant noise from other guests returning from the pool. Children were woken up numerous times due to the loud conversations that persisted until around 10 PM sometimes until 12pm. This made it very difficult for our kids to stick to their sleep schedule.  Since we assumed both rooms would be upgraded, we likely wouldn't have accepted the offer if we had known we would only receive one upgrade. This resulted in disappointment and discomfort.  Dining options on-site were pricey, and reservations were necessary well in advance, which can be inconvenient for families with dietary restrictions. Tips: To help with meal costs, we door-dashed groceries from Coles for breakfast and used Uber Eats for dinner, which worked out well for our fussy eaters. Additionally, we booked shuttle services with Con-X-Ion for our return trip to the airport and theme parks, which significantly reduced our stress. Overall, while our family had a good time due to the friendly atmosphere and convenience of being near attractions, the noise issues and room assignments detracted from our experience. If you plan on staying and would like to minimise noise exposure I would certainly request a room on a higher level for added peace

I have been tossing up weather to give 3 or 4 stars. I spent 5 nights recently at Seaworld resort and we had a great time, so much so we are coming back next year but here are the pros and cons: Pros: Beautiful grounds, plenty for the kids to do (even a kids disco on Monday night which was great), great pools for the kids, Easy access to the park, really well priced food and drinks surprisingly, lots of food options, always something going on. Our favourite spot was on the lawn of an afternoon, ordering drinks while all the kids played. Service was great and food was delicious. Cons: We were placed in a pretty old run down room (my sister on the other hand had a renovated one and was lovely) – comfortable but really needs to be renovated, I wasn’t too fussed as who spends time in the room anyway but worth a mention. The biggest issue for me which is why I was thinking 3 stars was the lack of shade around the kids play areas/pool. Also the kids water park area glass fencing is all frosted so even if you can get a seat in a particular shaded area so you can watch your kids, you can’t see them as the glass is frosted. So I guess the expectation is the parents need to stand around the kids areas in the blazing sun? Also around this area is picnic tables and random sitting options but again no shade. Really hard on the adults and kids. Overall the kids had so much fun, mixing with other kids and families. Great place and we will be back!

Not a place for couples. Lots of school-aged children staying there during school terms, which was surprising. No spaces for adults to relax. Even children in the Lobby Bar with their parents late at night.

Sea World Resort was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had. Each morning starts with a delicious buffet breakfast, and you get unlimited access to Sea World, plus nearby theme parks like Movie World and Wet'n'Wild. There are plenty of fun activities for kids, the rooms are super comfortable , and the resort has six different restaurants/bars—which is pretty amazing! The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. It’s the perfect place for a family getaway. I’d 100% recommend it—definitely a 5 out of 5 stars!

Just finished a 2 nights stay, 2a, 1t, 1i. We had a package for accomm, unlimited seaworld entry, breakfast daily and 1 character photo. Was fantastic value and would do again. We stayed in a waterside queen, ground floor. The higher the number, the closer to the water, and more view. We liked our view in 1036. You'd have a better view on the floors above. Great access to pools and splash park in front. Breakfast at shoreline was buffet and great. Dinner at Melrose also good. Some tips.... shoreline for breakfast is busiest 730 to 9. Expect a que if resort is busy. Pancake station often a line. Pool is busy mid afternoon onwards, and main splash pad is crazy with kids. Bathrooms are clean but pink /black mould in alot of places There's a link in the rooms to a compendium. Use it, as if you need something like towels, you can request on there. Beach shack near pool hires out beach towels no charge. You can sit in the lobby lounge left side or out on grass and order from lobby lounge or Melrose restaurants. Helpful when your group wants different things. The minus star is due to mould in bathroom, average meal at lobby restaurant, older splash pad could be better like the one in seaworld, New splashpad needs monitoring so all age types can enjoy (not just the screaming out of control tweens). Special mention to jade at reception and Tracy at shoreline. And the egg chef! Will be back, for longer...

It was her 70th birthday and, having stayed at Seaworld with our young kids for 2 weeks in each of 1990 and 1991, we decided on a 5-night stay with the whole family (6 adults and 2 teenage grandkids) to re-create that happy time. Four of the adults need a room to themselves (two snorers), two shared a room and the grandkids shared a room too. Getting 6 Waterview rooms as close together as possible in the middle of September school holidays was always going to be a challenge but the staff at the resort were extremely helpful and it worked well. We ended up with rooms 3030, 31, 34, 35 and 39 and the grandkids double room (2039) was a floor below. They rather liked that bit of independence from the olds. Waterview is an interesting concept and, if booking one, you really need to be on the third floor and in rooms as close to the Broadwater as possible. 3030 and 3031 had a view of the water but most of their view was of the pool area. Ground floor rooms would be good for those with very young kids but a water view would be limited. Most of our group were rarely in their rooms anyway during the day. Having the resort package was worthwhile because we were in Seaworld every day for the rides and shows and the young ones also had a day at Wet and Wild (although they came back early that afternoon for more Seaworld rides). It's disappointing that Seaworld no longer has the waterpark but it was probably safer for me given my history of recklessness on waterslides. As it was, I stupidly went on three of the most terrifying rides at Seaworld and had to visit the physio when we got home to have my C2 and C3 manipulated back in place. After age 70, the Leviathan ride should probably be avoided. My son and grandson paid extra on the last day to go on that ride sitting backwards ! People have commented that their rooms were dated and noisy. I believe that the Waterview rooms have been renovated and we found them to be very comfortable and quiet and all of our group slept well. We had a few lunches at the Waterfall Cafe while at the pool and a dinner at Shoreline the first night of our trip. Tables outside at the Lobby Bar were good for drinks later at night. We're not breakfast people so the breakfast queues at Shoreline weren't a problem and the younger ones found that takeaway coffee and pastries at the lobby coffee shop were a better alternative. We had a teppanyaki booking at Hatsuhana for our last night but there was a problem with exhaust fans so the restaurant was closed that day. Not a problem because we all went to Omeros Bros down the road for a lovely dinner there (our second meal there during our stay). We also had great dinners at Seascape and Holy Ship restaurants. Tip: at Seaworld, we discovered that, if you get to the Dockside Tavern at about 11.30am, go upstairs and grab a table on the verandah overlooking the water, you can enjoy lunch and drinks whilst watching dolphin show rehearsals and feeding. We did that twice. Overall, it was a fantastic trip and a great way to spend quality time with the family.
