The Kinmel & Kinspa

The setting is beautiful. Lots of lovely staff. The room was quite large and the bed was huge and very comfy. We stayed in a junior suite and it had all the extras you would need. Bathroom quite large with shower and separate bath. Breakfast was delicious. The bar was chilled and bar staff friendly. Our dog was welcomed too.

Breakfast isn't all buffet. The cooked breakfast is made to order from a set menu. Some places need a little attention to detail in terms of decorating, tiles in bathroom and edging of paintwork.

The Hotel was superb My family and me had a great time. The food was great. Only i feel they should increase the time slots for family swimming. Not a complaint just a suggestion.

Beautiful garden, brilliant spa, lovely restaurant and drinks. Comfy bed and very clean. Staff all friendly and good at what they do.

The Jacuzzi was the most massive I've ever encountered in 30-odd years of countless hotel stays. Temperature and water were good. Pool excellent. Sauna and steam room best I've ever visited. Parking was easy and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were well presented. There were modern sockets with USB charging ports. 5G signal was very good in this area (around 80Mbps download speed), so I did not need to use Hotel Wi-fi.

Several lockers in the changing room were out of commission or would not close properly. I checked about 10 of them. It took 15 minutes to find one that worked. This has nothing to do with the manual entry of the code. It was about the latch not engaging the groove in which it is meant to slide into. This is not a sudden problem on the day because so many were not working. Do not rely on guest feedback to monitor this. The lockers should be audited every 2 weeks or so. The rain shower in the room did not work. But another shower head did on the same fitting.
