Breakfast was lovely, nice quality food and staff very nice and friendly. Hotel in a good location for what we were doing. Impressed by the soundproofing, there was a couple of events on but from our room we didn’t hear any noise.

We had a 2 night stay at Kinmel and Kinspa , upon arrival we were told the spa was closed for maintenance but would be open on Saturday. It was open on Saturday morning but the sauna and steam rooms were out of order , the hydrotherapy pool was really cold. Thankfully, by Saturday evening the steam room was up and running and by Sunday the hydro pool was a lot warmer. We purposefully booked the hotel for use of spa facilities sauna/steam rooms and to not be told about them being out of order in advance was disappointing as we would have chosen a different weekend. Room was fine but the cleaning team didn’t replace dirty mugs/ tea/coffee.

Little disappointed with the size of the pool in the Spa

When arriving, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. When went and had a drink in the bar whilst waiting for our room to be ready and the bar staff were equally friendly. The food in the restaurant was really tasty. Me and my son also enjoyed our slot in the spa, I think 2 hours was more than enough time for a swim etc, plus we lounged by the pool with a drink ordered via the QR code on the table. This was a really nice bonus!

Very minor things. There were only 2 teabags in the room, but this was quickly rectified as I asked for some more when I went down for dinner. There was a slight smell of drains in the bathroom of our particular room, we were at the end of the corridor so it may be that we were the last room on a run of drains.
