Our hosts were really welcoming, friendly & helpful, & the breakfasts were very tasty; my partner had the full English & I had an English muffin with yogurt, spiced fruit & honey 😋 The property has on site parking for guests & is perfectly located for town, which is less than a 5 minute drive away. If you go around to the back of the cottage, you will find a beautiful little waterfall.

Our room was rather small, but it had everything we needed. We spent each day out & about site seeing, only returning to the cottage to sleep, so it really wasn’t much of an issue.

Very nice accommodation, comfortable and fantastic location. Lovely welcome, breakfast and resident dog, Hamish.

Is close to the center of Windermere and the lake, this place has a waterfall at the back of the house. The breakfast is amazing!

The clean of the room! Look dusty and full of spiders, I asked the owner to Please hoover them as my mum are scare of them, he did, but this detail could be done before.

This delightful BnB is well located. An easy walk to the town; even for lazy-bones like me! The couple who run the property are delightful. Friendly and informative. They have a lovely pooch: Hamish who makes sure you are well cared for. Off-street parking is directly in front; and Google maps took us to exactly the right spot; making arrival easy. All the rooms are upstairs. Each is different. Ours for instance, had the handwashing basin in the room and not in the ensuite. The furniture is tasteful and comfortable.

Three rooms are available, but the meals room can only handle two couples at a time which means you are on a bit an assigned schedule. While the owners will try to fit in with your needs; you will have an assigned time for breakfast. We were able to make that work, but for some others that may not be the case. It's not that we didn't like it; it's more that we were a bit surprised.
