The Level at Melia Sevilla

Melia a beautiful hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. We stayed in the Levels for a change (we always stay in the Melia in Spain) The levels was amazing. Treated extremely well upon arrival (had a glass of Cava) The room was lovely as was the terrace but due to the heavy rain we couldnt sit out as the furniture was soaking wet, not the hotels fault! The buffet food and drink in the levels area between 2 and 8pm was free and plentiful .The hotel is ideal for walking into the City centre. There are taxies outside as well as plently of buses if needed. Cannot fault the hotel at all.

We had a lovely stay at the Melia Seville. We checked in at the Level reception, check In was smooth & everything was explained. We had a welcome glass of Prosecco which was very well received. The room was modern, clean & comfortable with all the mod cons you would expect. The bedroom was spacious but the bathroom was very small & compact. Breakfast was delicious with a wide range of hot & cold items in a spacious dining room. We often had drinks & snacks in the Level most evenings. The swimming pool was quite large & clean, there was sufficient loungers available & poolside bar.

Very friendly service and the level area with free drinks and snacks and tapas was perfect. Very close to the back of Plaza espana.

Perfectly situated for sightseeing with the Plaza de Espana is just across the road. Unfortunately we weren’t anle to see the Plaza in all it’s glory due to the summer festival of concerts taking place. On arrival we were greeted by one of the very friendly and helpful Level staff and shown around. Level guests have free tapas and drinks all day with Happy Hour in the evening. Our room was on the 11th (top) floor and was spacious with air conditioning - much appreciated as the temperature was in the 90s while we were there. Only criticism is that the bathroom was too compact with both a bath and shower (others only had a shower which would have suited us better) and the toilet was too close to the shower door which made it awkward getting in and out of the shower. Breakfast in the Mosaico dining area offered a varied choice of menu and had both indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor pool was the perfect place to cool down after a day’s sightseeing with a covered bar area and plenty of umbrellas and sun loungers. On the ground floor is a spacious lounge and bar area with plenty of comfortable seating. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay as a family celebrating a milestone birthday.

My wife and I spent three nights at the Melia Hotel. During check in, I presented the front desk staff with a copy of an upgrade to The Level (included breakfast and all day snacks and drinks) for less money than we originally booked our basic room months ago. He refused to accept it since we didn’t cancel our original reservation (24 hour notice) . After much discussion with a customer service agent, we were able to switch rooms for our second two nights. The Level is very nice to say the least. The biggest plus was having a great view of the Plaza de Sevilla. The room itself was excellent, great beds and modern furnishings. One negative was hearing heavy doors slam shut throughout the night and other noises, perhaps elevator noise. The gym is large, but nothing special in terms of equipment. The locator the hotel is excellent. Walking distance within 30 minutes to the three most popular destinations. Parking is 25 Euros a night. Underground, narrow spaces and lots of signs of cars hitting concrete pillars.

Spent 3 nights in a Premium Room on the 9th floor overlooking the Plaza de Espana. Bedroom had been refurbished (nothing like the photos) and we had a balcony (albeit without furniture) which was a nice surprise. However, they are in the process of renovating the top floors so there was a fair amount of construction work from the room above and next to us. We were pleased that we had acces to the lounge to escape the noise! This was our first experience of "The Level" - breakfast was pretty good but quality/choice was not as good as we had hoped and the hot dishes lacked any presentation (i.e. a single, bare pancake on a plate) which made them look a bit sad. Coffee machines very average (Nespresso style pods) and lounge offerings during the day could also do with a bit more variety (i.e. the same small bites/sandwiches over the 3 days). During the evening (6-8pm) there was at least something different every day.

Stayed at The Level in Melia Seville Dr.Pedro de Castro for 3 nights from 12th February. Carmen and Estrella made our stay memorable and looked after us. Always there to help with queries and recommendations. The hotel is well laid out ,modern, clean and very light and airy. We had a great view of the Plaza de Espana from our room. We did not have chance to use all the facilities of pool and gym but all looked good.

This is a spotlessly clean, well managed hotel, with friendly staff and the rooms are spacious, clean and everything worked. We decided to spend 5 nights for Christmas and opted for The Level, as we wanted to ensure that we had access to food and drink if the rest of Seville was quiet or closed during festivities (don't worry, most places are open). Breakfast is excellent with good choice of hot & cold food. The residents lounge is best described as a bit like an airport Executive lounge in the fact that beer and wine and snacks are available for free (such as various wraps, sandwiches/crisps etc.) all day and at 6pm. until 8p.m. you can also access spirits and a few extra snacks such as meat & cheese boards etc. Last drinks and snacks by 10 p.m. The walk into central Seville through the parks takes 15-20 minutes, which are beautiful. Everywhere felt safe. The climate was lovely and during the day it was warm enough to sit by the pool in the afternoon, although definitely rather chilly in the mornings and cooler in the evenings. We will return.

Perfect stay! Spacious room, great executive lounge and good breakfast. The staff were very friendly. We would like to come back to this hotel. 😀
