Woolgoolga Lakeside Holiday Park

No WiFi in the cabin, apparently a perennial problem going back years. Not a major problem, but why advertise it when it doesn't exist.

Loved the location and the cabins were great

There was a really bad smell in the bunk room

The location was amazing, we all had a great time wandering from the lake to the beach and finding hermit crabs, sting rays and even fed parrots on our verandah. We decided we all want to come back for a longer stay next time!

The location is brilliant. Would like to know how much pollution is being washed down by the agriculture above though. The staff are extremely friendly and wonderful.

I wouldn’t stay again at the cabins due to the lighting- unless this is rectified with at least covers or eaves over the lighting so that it is direction controlled. The extremely bright light from over the office back door and the lights by the steps make the entire cabin bright all night and so I did not have even one good nights sleep - which is not what one would expect from a holiday place. The venetian blinds lets all the light into the bedroom and so it is not relaxing. Curtains to block out the lights or a cover over the top of the lights - as is usually required prevent light pollution…. So that it is still light and safe but not glaring everywhere - would make all the difference to an enjoyable stay. The furniture is terribly uncomfortable - some comfortable chairs on the deck are required. It would be very easy to make this a wonderful stay rather than a place that we just don’t want to return to due to the discomfort of the cabins.

We loved the quiet location on the lake, and having the beach close by was perfect too. It was an excellent base from which to do the Solitary Islands coastal hike.

Not much storage room in the second room but not really an issue.

Peaceful, ( most of the time, except for a few hoons on Friday night) . Birds, lizards, close to the beach, lake view was pleasant.

The outdoor seating on the balcony was very uncomfortable. Probably overpriced for what the cabin was.
