Way better than the previous reviews would let you think. This place is worth the price knowing that you’ll meet some amazing people from around the world. Location is just perfect. The hostel is quiet but you can be in an amazing atmosphere just walking a few minutes if you like partying. Also a lot of restaurant around and buses to get everywhere. Clean enough, I heard they made so many effort about it and I confirm it! Thanks Aberdeen Lodge!

Nothing to complain about but it would be easier with someone at the reception at least a few hours a day. I love human contact !

the doors and gates don’t lock so strangers come in - on multiple occasions homeless people often on drugs were wandering about the hostel. 1 toilet for girls. beds were old and loud and the pillow was so thin it didn’t do anything. fridges in the room which stank. gross hostel felt unsafe the entire time, cockroaches in the kitchen ect, not worth the money at all only stayed here as it was the cheapest available at the time.
