Budget Inn -Yreka

It’s an older property and non smoking but it’s so old that there reminders of it used to be smoked in. We are just sensitive to this smell but not a deal breaker

The owner was very helpful and happy to see us. If you like Indian food the smells coming from the owners kitchen were absolutely wonderful!! She even offered up bite to try. What an amazing lady.

Clean

The room was clean and tidy. The establishment is older, but everything was well-maintained and functional. It felt a bit like stepping back in time. I would stay here again.

Outside is a bit more rundown, but still quite serviceable.

The room and facilities were as expected. It was smaller than other motel rooms we have stayed in but it was clean and the staff was very accommodating.

Adequate comfort in a clean room at an exceptional price point.

Landscape was not fancy but we didn’t mind because our room was extra clean and more than adequate.

The room was a good size. It was mostly clean. The bed was ok. The air conditioner worked. We did have a fridge and a microwave.

Not enough coffee for 2 people (only one packet for two people). No hairdryer in room/no ice bucket. No internet reception on our phones or computers so we could not use them. TV reception was sketchy.

Friendly proprietor and easy, quick stay.

The Budget Inn is definitely a deal. Don’t expect it to be fancy, but for an inexpensive place to stay the night, it’s perfect. The rooms are clean and the staff are incredibly helpful. As a bonus, it’s a short walk to the cute historic district.

The heaters in the room are very loud!
