Le mobilier vieillot. On s'y attendait. Nous avons tout de même passé un bon séjour.

This is a great place to spend one or several nights in Dominica. House is super clean (lot of staff !), you have a shared kitchen. I also appreciate that they keep updates on the Waitukubuli Trail (If interested : please read below). If you like walking i recommand doing a loop from the guest house to scotts head then trail 1 back to the guest house. You can also walk to a small natural sulfur waterfall (take the river path and don't bother going to the further spot you can walk to).

I already kinda hated (sorry) the guy that wrote the informations about Waitukubuli on their website because i always took 1 or 2 hours longer to do the segments... (We joke that he probably carry no bag and/or sometimes run). But i got to write about the shelters on Waitukubuli Trail 1 and 2. Information is a bit lacking, because i was surprised to find two shelters in good shape on segment 1 (both on top of the hill but not same place), and also one just at the start of segment 2, near the river... and not far from the guest house... That lack of information could be interpreted as good for their buisness... Anyway i really really recommand this place if you look for a warm and dry bed and a shower. It's lovely. If you are more of a hardcore walker with tent or hamac though, please take note of the informations i provided above ;)

Habitación amplia y baño bien equipado. La zona común estaba muy bien y en la cocina había de todo lo que pudieses necesitar.

Las habitaciones no tienen aire y aunque teníamos ventilador, pasamos algo de calor al dormir. Está más alejado de Soufrière de lo que pensábamos.

Very nice guest house in the middle of the jungle. Next to soufrière and the Waitukubuli trail. To visit especially while dive fest in Soufrière !

Beautiful, large, well maintained property. Tucked in a narrow valley. Close walk to beach and main road to travel to other areas. Plenty of portable fans to keep you cool and also keep mosquitoes off you at night. Surprisingly low mosquito issues in the area. Hammocks galore, so many people can relax and swing. Many tables and seating areas. Host and staff all nice and the guests were all friendly as well. Just a nice experience. Would gladly stay again. Sell eggs in kitchen at a very reasonable price, so you could always have something to eat. Many water sports available through host.

Tip: it's about a 15 minute walk from main road where minibuses drop off. Can be draining if carrying your bags and 90F++ humid heat. Try to arrange for driver to drop you off right at the house for a little bit extra $$. Walk is pretty easy without bags. Phone GPS maps not very accurate when in the area. Do not go up any steep hills. You can take slight slope up and down the entire way from house to beach. Ignore gps if it takes you up anything steep.
