La Loma Jungle Lodge and Chocolate Farm

The property is located in one of the most beautiful places on earth! The cabin and the restaurant are surrounded by rainforest, a tropical farm, and abundant wildlife. We saw sloths, dolphins, two types of monkeys, massive iguanas and lizards, loads of tropical birds, all from the property. We had amazing sleeps, and we loved listening to all the wildlife and bird calls at night and in the morning! The service is out of this world, amazing, and they will help you organize local trips to go snorkelling, swimming, see wildlife, and to experience bioluminescence if the conditions are right. All meals are included, and the food is delicious, way better than anything you’ll get in a fancy restaurant in the city. Make sure to do the complementary chocolate farm tour, as the tour guide leader is one of the most knowledgable people you’ll ever meet on this part of the world, and all the delicious food that you can eat in the jungle. Our kids who are nine and 12 just loved exploring the property, and we also went kayaking in the bay, which was fantastic. A very special place!

Nothing, everything was amazing!

Vom ersten Moment an haben wir uns rundum wohl und willkommen gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist unglaublich herzlich und menschlich – man spürt sofort die Leidenschaft und Hingabe des gesamten Teams. Nicolas hat uns von Anfang an in Empfang genommen und bei unserem Aufenthalt begleitet. Es werden tolle Ausflüge angeboten. Wir haben die Zapatillainsel besucht, toll! Auch die Farmtour mit Mr. Kelly war besonders eindrucksvoll. Ein weiteres absolutes Highlight war die Nachtwanderung: Dabei konnten wir sogar eine Boa und Caimans sehen – ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Generell gab es viele beeindruckende Tierbegegnungen. Vom Zimmer aus konnten wir Affen beobachten – einfach traumhaft. Das Essen war landestypisch und exzellent. Besonders das kakaohaltige Dessert aus eigener Farmproduktion war etwas ganz Besonderes. Man schmeckt die Qualität und die Liebe zum Detail. Auch die inkludierten angebotenen Getränke – wie zum Beispiel der Avocado-Tee – waren mehr als ausreichend und sehr besonders. Abends haben wir leckere Cocktails (kostenpflichtig) genossen, die mit viel Liebe zubereitet wurden und sehr besonders schmeckten. Die kleinen Details, wie eine dekorative Blüte, haben alles perfekt abgerundet. Der Ausblick ist ein absoluter Traum und macht den Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Absolute Empfehlung! 🌴✨

Natürlich nichts !

Meine erste 10 und wir reisen viel. Aaron hat das Personal super geschult. Es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Auch wenn er Amerikaner ist, Britische Zurückhaltung und doch ständige Präsenz. Essen top! Die Baumhäuser bieten perfekte Privatsphäre. Man ist mitten im Dschungel.

Keine Verbesserung notwendig

O sítio é idílico. O hotel é lindo. A cama muito confortável. A comida deliciosa.

Não é um hotel para qualquer pessoa, tem de ir preparado para dormir ao ar livre ;) Diria que primeiro estranha-se, depois entranha-se, de dia para dia vamos gostando mais (idealmente com tampões nos ouvidos ou qualquer remédio para dormir por causa do barulho dos animais). Achei o hotel muito isolado, longe de tudo, logística complicada (barco para tudo e longe de tudo) para ir à praia. Não é um hotel barato, acho que o tudo incluído engana porque só inclui pequeno almoço, almoço e jantar. Sendo que o almoço é ao 12h30 e o jantar às 19h. Havendo fome fora desses períodos, não há nada para comer. Acho que falta uma piscina.

Location, food and jungle experience. Nothing was too much and we felt safe and comfortable in our jungle lodge! All the little touches make it a WOW holiday!

Kayak equipment in need of updating and increasing inventory as only 2 single kayak’s available. We did the cacao tour in the consistent pouring rain and soaked to the bone for 2 hours and kids were super cold and miserable…The guide failed to tell us that umbrellas available near the restaurant!

Fabulous location accessible only by boat - so you feel away from it all although only 30 mins from Bocas town Rooms open to the jungle but super comfy bed and hot showers The best food of our holiday - EVERY meal. Much grown on site - full of variety and flavour Welcoming staff with shout outs to Nicolas and Roger the guide. Being mesmorised by the humming birds at the main lodge. Kayaking and watching sloths and white faced monkeys.

The steps! But you need to climb them to get the view as well as breakfast lunch and dinner! As you’re in the rainforest - expect your clothes to feel damp after a few days - it’s normal!
