Tuk Tuk Timbul Bungalows

the location is beautiful and the Batak house rooms are very nice

if you ever been to Indonesia, you know how welcoming people are… well except at Tuktuk Timbul! No one says hi or welcome, first word the staff spoke to use was “do you have a reservation, passport!”…. next morning, no one says hi, basically put the coffee on the table without a word. it is too bad that they are so rude, the place is really cute and could have a lot of potential

The property is quite away from TukTuk village center, which makes it a relaxing place for those who look for a very quiet moment.

- the bed matrass was awful, it passed it's expiry date long ago - wifi only in the Reception area - no AC - we then moved to an other hotel/resort closer to the port : it was cheaper, had breakfast included, room was much nicer, comfortable bed, AC in the room, hotwater, 2 swimming pools, ferry cheaper to get to mainland. So do your research to find the best place
