Tuk Tuk Timbul Bungalows

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and quiet place. Very good for budget accommodation.

Location is a bit secluded

Food in restaurant was good and quick to arrive. We were able to get scooters to hire.

We had paid for a delux bungalow but we were put in a standard one. The room and bathroom weren’t very clean. The staff were rude and not very helpful. The whole hotel looks very rundown. The hotel itself isn’t actually in Tuk Tuk, so it’s an extra charge on the ferry or to get a taxi from the harbour.

Value for money. The lake view is splendid. Very serene with many plants ..

Like the cooking &: hospitality of the couple. Husband had many travel contacts to help almost all visitors.

The location is strategy with beautiful lake view.

Very quiet area and the bungalow was great. The bungalows are located very close to the lake. Really a place to relax and enjoy Lake Toba.

Very cute bungalows Beautiful views. A walk to main area and no bikes for rent, we had to walk 10-15 mins to rent bikes and downtown area wasnt much anyway but there are great restaurants within 5 mins walk. Porch was nice and very cute dogs on property. The staff was friendly and helpful when ordering beers to room they helped us carry and brought them to us which we thought was so nice.

Beautiful scenary of Lake Toba

The toilet use bidet toilet bowl which is very not so comfortable for most asian and the water pressure are slow too.

quiet location very helpful staff great value

we booked a ‘traditional batak bungalow’ but they were overbooked so switched to a regular bungalow - so a little disappointed in that.
