Nice modern hotel with very comfortable beds! Living in Kyrgyzstan, I travel around the country for work and have stayed at many hotels in the country. Almost every single hotel, even the higher end ones in Bishkek, have horribly uncomfortable beds. They are always very hard and you can feel the springs in them. The beds are so consistently bad that I usually travel with a backpacking sleeping mat to put on top of the mattress! However, Oasis Residence had very comfortable beds! Since this is such a rarity in this country, I will most likely stay here again when I need to make a trip to Bishkek.

The shower in our room leaked quite a bit onto the bathroom floor. Just a minor inconvenience. The location isn't the best if you want to be closer to downtown. But it's not too bad as it's right next to Ata Turk park. But considering how comfortable the beds were, I would gladly stay here instead of a place downtown with uncomfortable beds. Good sleep is worth it!

the rooms are big enough that even a small child can play and run quietly

Breakfast is not a buffet but you get a set daily menu. You can't get anything other than this menu unless you order paid menus. My son (1 year old) didn't get any food, and you can only take the included breakfast once and only choose one drink. There is no offer for vegans or vegetarians with the included breakfast.

The room was good and spacious, and the hotel staff was friendly.

Breakfast could have been a buffet. It was very limited; hence, we ordered more by paying for it.

Breakfast is not a buffet and not convincing at all. You get only one small cup of tee or coffee or juice, you get served a very large amount of food, like toasts, porridge, eggs but you cannot replace something, only for additional cost.
