Snowman Lodge and Spa

Bed was comfy, nice and warm, great location. Staff in restaurant were friendly, guest lounge was beautiful, nice, clean and relaxing

Room was smaller than expected, bedsheets were wet on the bed, water pressure was bad in the shower and water cold.

The kitchen facilities were in need of a deep clean.

Overall this place was disappointing and not worth the price.... No hot water in the communal showers or bedroom sink. Bed was very uncomfortable & duvet cover was around the wrong way which was weird and came apart in the night to reveal a less than appealing duvet inner... VERY thin walls (could hear most other guests talking in their rooms) and room door did not shut properly. Restaurant shown online was closed but no mention of opening hours on website. Paid extra for a spa but most of the jets were not working properly.

Bedroom was clean and warm.

Access diffucult in the wet with luggage. Large puddles and no drainage along the pathway.

Friendly helpful staff. Beds very comfortable with excellent sheets. Shared toilets and showers very clean. Great location in the middle of town with 5 min easy walking to bars etc.

Outside areas and gardens not well maintained..Both of our rooms (6,12) were not well insulated and there was a slight residual smell of smoke.

Lovely staff.
