Not very clean Bathroom and facilities pretty run down Room smelt of cigarette smoke

The bed was immensely comfortable which we were grateful for considering our late check in :)

We noticed there was no smoke alram but there was however, a bracket for one - there was a sprinkler in the bedroom though but having a working smoke alarm would be far more helpful and comforting for guests and their safety. The hand basin in the bathroom had a significant giant crack through the centre of the bowl, we also noticed hair and dirt as well as dust build up, on the floor in the bathroom. The shower pressure was low. Other guests who were also checking in late, were quite loud after 10pm, and were not encouraged at all by staff, to be quiet. While the bed was very comfortable, we also noticed an incorrect size of electric blanket installed on the queen bed.

In town but on side street

No top sheet. Slept directly next to unwashed verrrry smelly synthetic quilts which stank of stale sleep and body odour. No tea and coffee in room. Rubbish and dead fly on windowsill when we arrived. Bunk bed was verrry rickety and verrry noisy whenever anyone moved even a little. Quilts were sooo disgusting

The place is nice with a good room rate.

Dear Manager, I would like to provide some feedback regarding my experience at the lodge on 01 October 2025 between 5:30pm and 6:00pm. At that time, I used the laundry dryer, as there was no indication that it was for staff use only. A staff member approached me in a very unpleasant manner. Even after I explained that it would be helpful to place a clear sign such as “Staff Use Only” to avoid confusion in the future, she did not respond and continued to look at me in an unfriendly way. I found her attitude rude and unprofessional, especially in contrast to the other staff members I have met on my previous visits, who have all been very kind and helpful. This interaction left me feeling uncomfortable, and I believe it reflects a lack of proper training in customer service. For context, there was also a young boy nearby at the time who could have witnessed what happened. I would strongly encourage the lodge to place clearer signage on staff-only facilities and to ensure that all staff are trained to communicate respectfully with guests. Friendly and accommodating staff, staying here is becoming a yearly trend during ski season. Facilities are convenient and kept clean to a good standard.

The location was handy.

The room hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty carpet. Our small child keep finding old food like nuts on the floor. Multiple pubic hairs on the bathroom floor. The blankets and cushions were very dirty and sticky. There were cockroaches all through the shared kitchen. Not suitable for a family with small children. And way over priced.
