Beautiful location with wonderful views over Golant and the estuary. Very friendly welcome and relaxed breakfast arrangements. Great walks to either Fowey or Lostwithiel.

Breakfast was beautiful, locally sourced and brought to our room. We loved our stay. Karen went above and beyond during our stay allowing us early check-in in order to arrive late in the early hours of the morning following our wedding.

Beautiful view. Lovely quiet village. Great walks. We were well looked after by Karen, Dave and Woody their dog! We learned a lot about being more energy conscious but still enjoying ‘home comforts’. The breakfasts were delicious, and for me great gluten free options were available. Karen also left cakes for us to have when we returned to the property in the afternoons.

we loved the views from our room, the sounds of nature and the surrounding countryside attached to the property. Our room was so comfortable, our bed was really cosy. There was homemade cake in our room when we arrived and a plethora of information about local walks and places to visit.

The location was perfect, beautiful view. The accommodation was lovely, beautifully clean. We had a wonderful breakfast every morning. The owners were so lovely, very helpful and very kind.

Walking up to the property in the evening was interesting! We had torches so it was fine. A little steep but no problems.

We stayed in the Owl Barn which is a large self catering apartment. It's a beautiful large room with everything you could wish for - incl kitchen, dining area, living area & large double bed.and a separate bathroom. The view is "to die for". It's a quiet haven, perfect for relaxing and winding down. There are plenty of walks from the site, around the extensive grounds and also a beautiful walk to Fowey, though woods and away from roads. I also really appreciated the owners focus on sustainability and I found their experiment and what they are achieving really fascinating.

The drive up to the property may be a bit of a challenge for some people initially, though I thought it was fine. And the property and views way more than compensate.
