Tenbergen Pension Hotel

There was nothing to like, as we stayed for 5 mins and left.

To explain, we had two bookings: one for the beginning of our vacation, which we had to cancel due to our flight being canceled so we could not reach Windhoek the initialy planned date, and one at the end of our vacation. At the end of our vacation we reached the accommodation and, after doing the check-in, i go to the room with the first round of luggage while my husband was at the car bringing the 2nd round. When I got to the room, I went to the bathroom to wash my face and I noticed the shower being wet which seemed odd, as it was already after 6:00 pm and the cleaning is done much earlier, so the shower should have been dried. Then i notice toilet paper coming out of the dust bin, which again, that shouldn't happen in a clean room. When i push the lid out, there it was ... a condom!!. The room ( at least our shower) had just been used.... You get the rest ...we walked out, asked for our money back and booked somewhere else. But!!! The man receptionist needs to understand what a good hospitality attitude means. He did apologize, but the way he did that was, again, unprofessional saying he called the housekeeping and they said they have missed taking out the trash. That is a big No! He should have first acknowledged the disturbance and the inconvenience this meant to us, after a 6 h drive to have to stay in front of the accommodation trying to find another place to book, as it was already getting dark... Sorry they can reply whatever they want. But I would Not recommend this accommodation. And you, Sir receptionist, soothe your voice when receiving guests. You talking down to people does not create a nice impression not should you have the right to do that. Remember: respect goes a long way!

Room is quite big - Quick check in and easy check out - Staff is helpful - Close to attractions - It felt safe location - There is a refrigerator, microwave, and a kettle, dishes - Will stay again if I visit Windhoek

The size of the Rooms are good. Location of the property is perfect.

Fact that there is no breakfast or 24 hour staff

Great restaurant next door for breakfast and lunch.

Sheets and towels are very old and grey. They need to be renewed in my point of view.
