Stayed here for business trip. This place is like Fawlty Towers! Such a shame. I spent a long time looking at reviews and this hotel had (mainly) good reviews. The first room I was put in was huge and lovely, but the toilet constantly was refilling and it was too noisy to sleep. I complained to the receptionist who didn’t appear surprised, and instantly moved me to a smaller room elsewhere in the building. I thought this was poor. At this stage I was too tired to argue and went to dinner (which was lovely) before retiring to the room for a hot bath. When I got back there - no water was working in the room. I went back to reception where the lady got the manager. The manager came out and advised that there was a “water problem” and it was “out of her control”. She simply shrugged her shoulders and suggested the water might be back on later tonight. I cannot stress how disappointed I was with this place. My advice? Spend your money elsewhere because this place is a shambles.

Not much sadly , I think it was just a bit grubby for us, we had booked 2 nights but didn’t stay …

See above … just a bit tired and lacking class

Parking difficult

The staff were friendly and helpful, both at reception and in the restaurant at breakfast. It's a golfing hotel, so it was full of golfers - a new experience for me! Very comfortable bed and pillows. Good shower.

Our bedroom had a wonderful view over the course and 3rd tee. However, I think the cleaners haven't worked out how to open the left hand balcony, which you have to do to vacuum the cobwebs. Not a great look. The bathroom and therefore the bedroom had a strong smell of damp. I suspect that the hotel know about this because I don't think our comment came as a surprise. We slept ok with the bathroom door shut and the windows open, but I wouldn't go back to the room. Good breakfast but awful muddy coffee in a cafetière - basically, not drinkable.

A lovely stay in a peaceful environment, nice spacious rooms easy parking, good walks. Great breakfast choice, one improvement would be a good coffee machine in breakfast room,

Beautiful setting and a very spacious room. Excellent bar area and breakfast was outstanding
