The food was good and service excellent. Breakfast was excellent and very well served. Large eating area with views over the grounds made for a pleasant start.

We picked a tournament weekend so the parking was a bit tight but only a problem on one day. Easy walk to the beach and along the coast line. Enjoyable to watch the golf teams starting their course.

Absolutely fabulous few days as always at The Thorpeness Hotel - a lovely comfortable quiet room, great food and lovely staff. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful stay. Accommodation, area, service, staff, food, wildlife. Just loved my short stay here. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough

It needed updating very old fashioned . rusty towel rail , the hotel had 4 long tables of golfers for breakfast , they were extremely loud shouting and laughing to each other across to each other , we complained there was no respect for other people trying to enjoy breakfast .loud music n the dinning room too .glad we only stayed 1 night .
