An amazing spacious and clean room in a lovely pub. I couldn't ask for more. Great value for money.

Beautiful building with a good atmosphere

Limited things to do as in small village

Lovely quiet village location, The room had everything you needed in it, very generous with the tea and coffee, hot chocolate. The evening meal was good and there was plenty of choice for both food and drink. They don't serve breakfast but there is we were told a cafe next door where you get 10% if you're staying at the pub.

Made very welcome at early and very helpful check in. Enjoyed our evening meals at the pub with good choice and great food. Whole pub dog friendly which was great for us. Hartington an ideal location for walks and with good bus service as required. Fridge in room really appreciated with good supply of tea and coffee - many thanks.

Some dust and substandard cleaning, not a lot of natural light in room so may have been difficult for cleaner to see.

Perfect

No breakfast offered. Saw 1 member of staff throughout stay, not welcoming or friendly. Room needed a thorough clean. No evening meal(Sunday) but very limited options in a small village. Expensive for what had. Key to get in a fiddle. But room and place had great potential, comfy bed and essentials mostly clean. A high charge for 1 night considering the above! Wouldn’t recommend other than location.
