Plaza Magdalena Hotel

This hotel was by far one of the best hotels in Copan. The outdoor garden area was amazing, and the breakfast every morning included was fantastic. When we first got to our room, we noticed that there were several lightbulbs out, and that the cleanliness was OK but not exceptional. There were cobwebs on the ceiling around the fan, a smashed bag on the wall, and spots on the mirror in the bathroom. The pool area was exceptional, but their maintenance on the pool was lacking. The pool was cloudy and there was lots of leaves and debris at the bottom. I asked the front desk to resolve it, and although I saw them working on the pool several mornings scrubbing and putting in chemicals, it was still cloudy the day we left, seven days after check-in. Ultimately, this was still a fantastic location for us to stay. We got friendly with many of the staff members, and other visitors. I think the minor issues that they have can be fixed readily. We felt safe, and the AC in the bedroom was great. This was only one block off of the Central Park, and was an easy walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Getting a TukTuk was no problem as they were usually parked right outside. We really enjoyed our stay!!

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It was centrally located, had friendly and helpful staff, room was clean and spacious, and the property grounds were lovely. Breakfast was included too. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Excelent hotel, perfect location in the center of the city and near to everything we need. Amazing staff, everyone was so nice and Kind. Also flexible with the check in timing.

The location was good, it was close to the park and places to eat. The a/C wasn´t working well and the room curtains dind´t block the morning sunlight.
