Roby Homestay

Nice place to stay with a great family in a quiet location - would be great if you have a motorbike- we didn’t and it was just that little bit too far out of town for us to walk comfortably.

I really liked staying at Roby Homestay and felt so welcome from right when I got there. The atmosphere is lovely and it’s easy to talk with new people because of the common area - both with other guests and the lovely people from the Homestay. They are helpful regarding questions and activities and the surfing lessons with Joni are soo nice!! If I had more time, I definitely would have stayed longer.

The staff was friendly and you can book tours and motorcycles with them. It's a five minute drive in the city of kuta. The included breakfast was like the standard breakfast you get anywhere.

The room was very small and there was no A/C. Just a small fan, so it was very very hot in the room. There was no door between the bathroom and the sleeping area. The smell of the canalisation was pretty bad from time to time. There were a lot of ants in front of the room and in the room too. In addition there were tons of flies. That's why sitting outside wasn't that enjoyable.

Nice owners, working wifi and aircon, breakfast and free tea/coffee for a good price.

The room is very small and rustic, but no complaints given the cheap price.

My stay at the Lombok homestay was nothing short of amazing. It felt like a home away from home, and I found myself extending my stay every day, reluctant to leave. Surfing with Joni was an absolute highlight, and spending time with the whole team added a special warmth to my trip that I'll cherish forever. This homestay is perfect if you don’t want to be in the city, it’s in a small village. It was really quiet, confortable, and the staf is really nice. You can book a moto bike there, surf lesson, transfer… and they have good pancakes also! I recommend
