Staff were fantastic, food was great, room was very nice, facilities were great. Cozy, quiet, comfortable...we are very satisfied and recommend the Bear and Bison highly.

It wad a beautiful room and the breakfast was fantastic. They accommodated all my food sensitivities and provided a kettle so I could make my own hot drinks. The area was nice and quiet (no trains).

It was farther from town than I thought so we pivoted our plans. There were stairs to get to the various areas so if you have trouble climbing them you may want to ask for a room on the main floor.

Fantastic everything! Breakfast, (only available to your room)was one of the best breakfasts we have ever had. Scone, mixed fresh fruit, bacon, egg , mushroom croissant served with bernaise sauce, tea and coffee, orange juice.

A very minor point. Lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room, (but were available down the corridor. )
