A Bear and Bison Country Inn

We stayed one night at Bear and Bison Inn to celebrate our anniversary, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The inn has a very cozy, romantic atmosphere, and Anna especially loved how beautifully quiet and peaceful it was throughout the stay. The room was exceptionally clean and well cared for. We really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub and spending time by the fireplace, which made the evening feel extra special. The king-size bed was extremely comfortable, with a mattress that provided a great night’s sleep. In the morning, breakfast was excellent and felt thoughtfully prepared. The staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. A nice little highlight was watching a chipmunk outside in the morning. Having Iron Goat Pub and Grill right next door was also a big plus—the food and atmosphere there were awesome and very convenient.

The only minor downside was that the path to the street sidewalk could use a bit more lighting.

My family wanted to stay in Banff proper, that was the only reason we didn’t stay here in Canmore.

Facing street and noise traffic

The room and Inn were quiet and peaceful, both with a beautiful view. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, especially as it was delivered to the room.
