"Bad"

We paid for our room through booking. Once we checked in, they charged us again through the property. Take note, they charge you $100 fee upon arrival. We made them aware asap. We did receive the refund a few days later. The ac was broken and the door to the room had a huge gap at the bottom and around the frame allowing hot air to come through. Staff was made aware. Staff said they could fix it but they weren’t able to. I had to ask for another room but went with staff to make sure the new rooms ac was working properly. The staff member had to kick the bottom of the door to get the door to open. I refused to stay in that room. I asked to speak to a manager and was told I was not allowed. I was told he was off and was not allowed to be bothered. My family went to the pool as I was dealing with this. Another staff member came up to me (did not speak to this person at all before hand) and said that he was in our room and ac was bad and they needed to replace it. He went into our room without our consent or just even us knowing he went into our room. The tv was on and our stuff was moved from one bed to another. At this point, I packed everything up and we left. I am waiting for a refund for this stay yet. Booking has been called 4 times about this and I have yet to receive my refund. We did not even stay at the property for 2 hours.

"Simple Life - Simple Complications for Your Trip"

Liked the location and the remodeling materials of the room. It looked nice - but a bit of lipstick on a pig is still a pig. It was about what I expected for the price. I've stayed at worse.

Room was small, beds were small, sheets were thin (yes, comforter too) there were two beds, they gave us one comforter and then the housekeeping staff rolled their eyes at me when I asked for another. Even with a language barrier. Walls between rooms were thin - could hear the drunk couple next door fighting and slamming their door at 11:30pm. Thankfully they didn't wake my 5 month old after being in a car for around 6 and a half hours. I was on the ground level and the person upstairs kept dropping something - but kind of anticipated that. Front desk guy was alright. Was Facetiming someone when I walked in, acted like I inconvenienced him by walking in. But overall, he was at least polite. There's a Keurig in the corner of their sister property (Flamingo Motel) What really blindsided me was the $100 mandatory deposit collected on-site upon check-in that wasn't mentioned on their website or Booking.com. The room was already paid for through Booking. Whatever - it'll come back within 7-10 days. But still, a pre-warning to have an extra $100+ dollars when checking in would've been nice. Notice the picture - it says a deposit will be collected upon BOOKING, not CHECK-IN. But other than that, it was a roof, a bed and a place to 💩 and shower. Heads up - it's a CHARGE and REFUND - NOT a HOLD.

"Passable"

Wasn’t cleaned right. Room wasn’t ready even though I was still hours LATE after check in. I let that go… towels were stained and nasty. Same with the bedding. Showers are rusty outlets didn’t work. Sliding door was broken.

"Ok but not good."

Closeness to the beach. Staff did fix the smoke detector right away. Close to McDonald's and Burger King for cheaper food options.

Upon arrival smoke detector was beeping due to dying battery, no wash cloths and 2 towels, 1 already dirty, was awaiting us in our room. I asked front desk to change the battery, give 2 new clean towels and wash cloths. They did. Problem is housekeeping came the next day and took our towels and left new ones but never took our wash cloths so we had the same 2 wash cloths the whole stay. They advertised sound proof walls but I heard every conversation from our neighbors, every rolling of a suitcase, every door shutting, etc... The blind that covers the bathroom window left gaps so anyone walking down the hall could see into our bathroom. We had to hang a towel up. I booked a first floor but got a second floor room which wasn't what I wanted. I guess you get what you paid for but they need to change their advertisement to mirror the correct version of what you're getting booking there. No coffee maker!

There was no door lock on the interior of the room, it felt so unsafe. Sheets were stained and just overall gross and not clean feeling. Not very lit up so it felt scetchy after dark.
