Pinot Cottage

Really nice accommodation, spacious rooms and great location! Kitchen has everything you need including a bbq. Off street private parking was a definite plus and walking distance into town.

Would be good to have a fan for air circulation in the bedrooms at night when it is warmer.

We loved our stay at Pinot Cottage! The cottage is private and in a great location, only a 10 minute walk into the heart of Wanaka. Two spacious bedrooms each with a bathroom, which was great for 4 people. The beds were comfortable, the cottage was clean and the kitchen well equipped.

Very minor detail, but it would have been great to have some milk to go with the coffee and tea provided and some shower products. But there is a supermarket close by to get these items if needed.

Good Location and property tidy on arrival.

A number of maintenance issues need attention e.g. Microwave and Toaster barely functional, sink blocked in master bedroom , lighting faults etc. Shouldn't be a guests job to bring all these maintenance issues to the Property Managers attention, I thought that was their role? Basic TV with no DVD player or decent channels and NO WIFI included in price. We couldn't believe the owner / property managers were asking an additional $10 / night for WiFi given the nightly price paid for our 5 night stay. I note that many other guests have been complaining about this since 2021 !! Would be nice if decent feather duvets were provided rather than old style heavy blankets.

Cold house with low level of insulation requiring heating all night. Lovely log fire with ample firewood provided, but still got very cold at night & in the mornings

house was nice and really convenient

bathrooms and bedrooms cold, heaters noisy or old, heat pump and log burner in main room great. rest a bit cold. would be awesome in summer with outside area and view
