The Krook

The house was terrific! there were 5 of us and it was an amazing amount of space - bathrooms for everyone! YOU CAN NOT BEAT THE VIEW! It was spectacular. The kitchen was pretty well stocked and we were able to cook a couple of nights and eat on the upstairs deck -- so lovely.

The staff at the reception desk were less than friendly and made us feel like we were a nuisance to them. It was so hot when we first got there.... the blinds should be pulled to control the heat. The trash and recycling were both full at the curb when we checked in and didn't get picked up during our stay, so it was a bit difficult navigating that. Seems like the property needs to manage the trash if the city service doesn't happen timely. The showers needed to be cleared of hair, as they pooled at the bottom of the shower. Again, the staff at reception seemed unconcerned when we let them know at the end of our stay.

It had lots of bathrooms. Close to town. Beautiful view. Great outdoor in door flow

very comfortable, easy walk into town, easy car parking, beds were good, plenty of room for an extended family of 8, loved the fire

4 single beds, only 1 with a working electric blanket, hand basins with no plugs,toilet with missing flush buttons, House needs a good Reno, still ok but getting very tired

Loved the location and the house was the perfect size for our group

Only small negative was a blocked/slow drain in the master bathroom shower which caused a bit of flooding and mopping. The kitchen cupboard where the rubbish bin was kept didn't shut well and would have been good to have an axe or some kindling for fire. All minor but feedback may help improve
