Great location, close to town. Plenty of room for 8 people.

Cleaning could have been better. Cob webs hanging from walls & ceiling inside. Upstairs bathroom had mould around seal. Maybe requires some other form of heating downstairs other than fire.

Excellent house in an exceptional location. Walkable to the lake (300m), with lake views,walkable to the main shops/restaurants. An abundance of bathrooms is always so handy (4 bathrooms!). All bedrooms are well sized. Well setup for 10 people/2 families. Huge dining table plus outdoor dining, two lounge rooms, full laundry facilities.

Only downside was that in the peak of summer the house can become a bit of an oven. All bedrooms have openable windows however the air flow isn't great and it was hot trying to go to sleep at night. There is one air-conditioner in the upstairs lounge but that's the only form of cooling, if you're localish and coming in summer I'd recommend taking some pedestal fans if you can fit them in! We went to buy some but wanaka was completely sold out which happens every year and I wish I'd thought to bring a fan as we have a baby. Other than that no complaints the house was perfect for us.
