Clarion Hotel Oslo Airport

I didn’t actually stay in the Clarion as originally booked. I was transferred to their sister hotel, Comfort Runway as a conference was taking place in the Clarion. I found this very strange as the original booking was confirmed by the Clarion.

The Comfort Hotel Runway is a very basic hotel. The reception area doubles up a a bar and food is ordered and paid from there. The restaurant is very poor - the menu choices were chicken burger and chips, bacon burger and chips, pizza and chicken wings. I had the chicken burger and my wife had the bacon burger and to be honest they were not great. The bill with a 0.4 litre beer and an aperol spritz came to the equivalent of €70. The reception area is very noisy and only has a small number of comfortable seats.

Aamulento oli tosi aikaisin, eikä ehtinyt aamupalalle. Hotellilta sai eväspussin matkaan.

Meinasin mennä saunaan, mutta se ei ollutkaan ihan perinteinen, vaan keskellä kuntosalia.
