Shanahans B&B with Sports Bar

The receptionist was superb,she had very good hospitality

It was noisy

During hot weather, the room becomes stiflingly hot. Also, the floorboards creak when stepped on. However, the place is kept very clean.

Room was nicely spacious especially for the money, staff were extremely helpful to the point of even substituting parts of the breakfast I didn't like with things I did at no extra charge, general atmosphere had lots of personality to it, handy side-entrance for late nights.

Given the more industrial-focussed location, be ready to rely on public transport for things outside of the B&B, as there aren't many places to eat/resupply nearby.

It was a pleasure to stop here all staff were very helpful and kind lin the cook was so nice nothing was to much trouble the lady I was with has learning disabilities lin was great with her
