An iron in the room would have been nice

What is not to like about La Smeralda! This is a very niche and stylish boutique bnb. From start to finish, I couldn't have asked for more. Their customer care went way beyond my expectations. I had to check in late and the process was seamless, easy and quick. The place smells beautiful always. My room was spotless, the furnishings were all new. The pillows were perfect, not too fluffy and not thin. The memory foam mattress was a dream. The electric shutters on the windows provides a black out effect and the windows did a perfect job of shutting out noise, if any, outside. Toiletries provided were soap, shampoo/ shower gel, mini vanity kit, a sewing kit and very good hair dryer! The owners and staff were extremely warm, friendly and helpful. Every guest is given a small on check out which was unexpected and so sweet! There was a great selection for breakfast and the home made cakes which varied daily were divine! The location was perfect, literally minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. I loved my stay here and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

We liked everything about the property! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The beds were comfortable and rooms were clean. It was centrally located and made it easy to travel around the North part of the island.

We arrived in the morning and found the taxi waiting for us at the airport. Having booked the Priority Check-in Service, we were able to get into our room early and head to the beach early. We also received a packed lunch to take with us. The staff helped us rent the bikes and also offered us a room with a garden so we could enter and exit from an exclusive entrance to the accommodation directly with the bikes. Going up a few steps from this garden there was also a balcony equipped with tables and chairs. We loved having all these comfortable outdoor spaces. The breakfast included in the stay is an Italian breakfast, but very varied with sweet and savory foods and local specialties, such as sardinian sausage. It is also possible to book off-menu foods by paying a small supplement, but we preferred to taste what the buffet offered and we were very satisfied. Excellent stay in a characteristic location.

Excellent solution, just how we wanted it. After years of experience in the tourism sector, my wife and I are in the habit of choosing accommodation based on a few simple but essential requirements that we appreciated during this stay. First of all, the property is small, so everything works perfectly and the guest is not a number, but a truly special person. We understood this even before arrival, when we received personalized messages to better organize our arrival times. At check-in we were welcomed with smiles, friendliness and professionalism. The room is new and modern with a beautiful design and balanced decor without glitz. Latest generation windows for optimal acoustic insulation. The cleanliness is impeccable, we saw with our own eyes that the owners personally make sure that in the end everything is perfect. We know that the linen comes from the internal laundry and not from the industrial laundry. This usually allows a manual check of each individual item, and in fact the linen was always perfect, without the slightest stain. Breakfast is Italian with local products and a good balance between sweet and savory without excesses, maintaining a high quality standard. Because we knew that a friend had tasted excellent Asphodel honey the previous year, we asked the staff where we could buy it and the next day the staff made us find it on the breakfast buffet. It is not always easy to find properties of this type, we are therefore very happy to share this excellent experience which we rate 10. We are sure that those like us who choose their stay based on these requirements will fall in love with this place.
