Staying on the first floor and the carpet seemed damp, and there was a musty smell to the room when we walked in and had to open the patio door and air out the room

The location was great. Variety of breakfast choices.

There was a variety of breakfast choices but the hot portion was cold ie) eggs and sausages.

Breakfast was good. My grandkids loved it.

No elevator to second floor

Hotel seems to have been renovated, which extends beyond a repaint: everything seemed newer and shinier. My wife likes the breakfast (and she's picky). Staff were friendly and professional. Even though it's beside a major traffic artery, our room was fine. Beds were comfy, lots of pillows and the cable TV was full-function, unlike a competitor down the street. Shower was great with drainage to match. Wifi is up to standard. HVAC held the set temperature fine and wasn't especially loud.

Entrance driveway needs some serious remediation. Don't pull in quickly 'cause it's really bumpy and uneven. It's steep, since the hotel is on a rise, but some renovation needs to be done here. In fact, on the entire parking lot.

Great location. Very clean. Comfortable bed. Room had microwave oven, fridge and coffee maker. Free fast wifi. Friendly and efficient reception staff. Good breakfast was included and was of a better quality than I expected.
