Unfortunately this is our go to spot in Owen Sound

The property is tired, REALLY needs updating.

The check-in was great... helped with our luggage, very friendly and informative. Room was comfortable and clean.

We stayed 2 days and and we were to get clean towels and the bed remade but that didn't happen. We paid the same rate for each day. The second day should have been a reduced rate.There were two extra taxes added to our bill.

Terrible breakfast experience

When we turned on the air conditioner, it smelt like moldy wet towel. Had to shut it off immediately. The bathroom also had some mold in it on the top of wall. The bed was comfortable, but the smell was too much.

Had problem with room door locking. Manager came to fix with a screwdriver. But quickly realized it was not possible. I asked for another room and first was told they were full. But after 5 min they gave me a new room. Appreciated the effort however they should have offered another room as I asked for immediately as obviously one was available. Staff was polite from the front desk to cleaning staff. The price for this hotel was overpriced. Others in the area are $30 to $50 less.

The location is good. It was clean, and the beds were comfortable the breakfast was pretty good, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, coffee, juice, bagels and fruit.

The carpet smelled a little bit moldy.

Rooms could use upgrading. Carpets hold dust, not good for allergies. Would be nice to have bottled water supplied.
