Reasonable rates. Room although dated was clean and in good condition. Pet Friendly /Close to 401. Complimentary breakfast. Overall good value.

Note: Google maps still shows Comfort Inn, confusing when try to locate the Port Hope Inn.

This was my second time at the property; however, it had recently changed its name from the Comfort inn brand. The only noticeable change was there was no waffle iron to make waffles, as before! The only negative would be the setup of the breakfast area in general. It was poorly organized such that, for example, the coffee was poured at one side of the area and the cream was in a fridge on the other. Maybe fine if just one person was there but with little kids, it was an accident waiting to happen. Anyway people were milling around not orderly at all. We’ve had much experience at US Military inns so notice some issues that they need to address. Otherwise, staff were friendly, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Well worth what we paid especially compared to comparable properties in the area.

Just off Hwy 401. Few dinings options nearby.

It's what you'd expect of a motel stay for the price you're paying. The clientele is mixed in terms of age and what they're probably visiting for (families, guy's trip, elderly, etc.). Our floor was quiet. The bed was comfortable and the unit was mostly clean, but the carpet and blackout curtains could use a deep clean. I brought slippers having read other reviews and would recommend others to do the same.

Stay was good. The tub was very slippery- that was the only “not so good” part.

Great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, conveniently located, and a good breakfast too. Reasonably priced.

Second visit in a row same issues. No shampoo. Not enough dishes or essential cookware, had to clean out fridge. No dish soap and dirty dishes in washer. The service was much better than previous visits. Gina is usually who checks us in and is extremely unprofessional in both dress and attitude. Very put out when asked to do anything . This time the manager checked us in. Was very helpful. The cleaning staff we tracked down gave us the shampoo that we needed. We understand the renovations are what they are but staff is complacent and no one is completing their own jobs which is reflected in attitude and uncleanliness.
