The Market House

Great location to visit Reading and for the event we were attending. The room was quiet and comfortable despite a rooftop party being on that evening. Staff was friendly.

I just wrote a review...will do again. We walked into the bar area to check in and got key to room. The room was tastefully decorated and a generous size. There was tea coffee and milk @ water in fridge near our room. Bed comfy, temperature controls easy big tv. The soap products in bathroom were not to my taste however useable. This was laststop on my 15day tour of southern england and most hotels had fragrant bath products that took some getting used to. LOL. Every person who worked here was kind helpful and genuinely a joy to talk to. I would definitely like to spend another day or two and explore Reading. Room very quiet.

Everything was great. If i returned i would ask about the fridge situation as i use Insulin. However not an issue. Oh one thing wasnt sure about window controls. and maybe doesnt apply to this room as it was an inside room. So not a problem.

Great central location, lively and rooms were funky, clean and had special touches - would recommend.

The bed and bedding were supremely comfortable! Loved the Pizza and Nachos downstairs too.
